This unit is located in a 2880m2 nave and is made up of an enclosed area for the storage of equipment. The aim of this facility is to recover contaminated soils for their reuse. This decontamination is performed in biopiles which promote the biodegradation of hydrocarbons in the soil through microorganisms. The optimisation of this operation is performed by controlling the temperature, pH, aeration and nutrient concentration.
