Ecodeal receives a visit from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL)
On 24 June, CIRVER Ecodeal opened its doors to receive a visit related to the Integrated Management Systems (SIG) course unit of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. The event was organised by Professor Susete Nunes, a lecturer.
Professor Nunes believes this study visit “was a success” and noted “the availability, competence and clarity” with which the students were welcomed by Marta Costa (engineer), which enriched the course content.
The lecturer thinks this visit to the facility showed some of the concerns relating to the issues of quality, the environment, and health and safety at work intrinsic to the implementation or certification of an integrated management system.
SIG is a subject in the master’s course in Management of Food Quality and Safety at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. Students on the course intend to implement what they have learned straightaway in their professional activities, since most are working students.
